Who are those girls that get 4.0 GPAs the semester that they are planning a wedding. I feel like I can't give my full attention to any one thing. I try spending time wedding planning but I feel like I should be doing homework. When I try to do homework I would rather be wedding planning. When I'm at internship meetings I feel like I should be at work. The list goes on...and on. Anyway there is too much going on and I feel like I can't devote myself to any one thing. So everything in my life doesn't get my full attention just my partial attention. But I'm really excited for April 30 and I'm really excited to have this semester be over!

Engaged!
As of tomorrow I will have been engaged for two weeks!! I already have the dress and photographer but I'm still trying to figure out the venue. Any hints for places in the SLC area???
Here's the story: On Thursday Britton picked me up to go to California. I had no idea we were going and I was so excited!!! I really needed a mini spring break! Little did I know, it was going to be a way better vacation than I expected. On the way down I was so antsy to get there and see my brother, Beau, but also to get to Disneyland.
Once In Disneyland, we spent the whole day on Toy Story, Space Mountain, California Screamin etc. When Beau met up with us we went on Indiana Jones. It was raining really hard outside so I decided we should go into a store to warm up, which is when Britton told Beau he was going to propose and he got the ring in a position to have more handy. Of course, Beau said he had to go to the bathroom, which was perfect for me because I had to go too. I thought it was weird when both Britton and Beau acted like I was invisible when I said I had to go too. Beau told Britton and I he would meet us at the wishing well which I had never seen before. As we were walking over to the wishing well I was rather oblivious. Looking back, I now see how nervous and quiet Britton was. We walked to the wishing well and Britton told me we should both make a wish. Which I did. About 10 seconds later when I was done looking to see how many quarters were at the bottom of the wishing well, I looked behind me and Britton was on one knee. I was SHOCKED!!! I had no idea it was coming. I literally couldn't say anything for 30 seconds. Britton got up and gave me a hug and said some really sweet things.
About a minute later, I noticed a flash from the bushes and I saw that Beau hadn't gone to the bathroom, but had gone to be our hidden phorographer. Luckily, he got some good gems...here they are.

Sick :(
Being sick is the absolute worst. I hate the feeling of your nose just being perma-congested, your head wants to explode, and your body is all sorts of achy. Last week, three of my four roomates were really sick. I thought I had dodged a bullet when the weekend came and i wasn't sick. wrongo. woke up on monday morning with the itchy throat and runny nose. Needless to say, the cold came at the BEST time. 2 assignments, a paper, and a test this week. Perfect...not. Anyway I'm just being a baby. Britton is doing really good at taking care of me. TOday he brought me Zicam, Advil, and Kleenex. Essentials for a day on campus while being sick. Back to studying when my body just wants sleep!

2 Blog Posts in 1 Week!!!!!
So I put more pics on my computer. And I don't feel like studying...so here's another blog post for both of you readers(probably Jessica and Ie Ling...called it). Mostly I just want to sum up the end of my summer. All I want is summer back. And no school. I miss not having school. hahah. I should enjoy it right now though.
So in August I moved into a house. As I was busy packing and cleaning my old apt. I found Britton doing this...
He was such a good help...He actually really was. I think he was just trying to get me to laugh in this moment. Anyway, I am now settled in my new house(obviously, it's three months later). And I love it.
We also spent a day in Balboa Island with Ness and Derek. So fun. We rented Tandum bikes, which are the raddest thing. I want to do it again. Soon.
At the beginning of the semester, there were a series of good things that happened to Britton and I. I got into the Business Program, Britton won his futsal tournament, finished his last season at BYU, and celebrated our 1 and 1/2 years anniversary. To celebrate, we went to this place called Christopher's. It's a steakhouse in SLC(don't worry we had a groupon). And it was so fun. This is us before we went.
Recently, Britton, his family, and I went to a BYU football game. I think it was my first one with Britton actually. It wasn't cold which was nice, but even nicer we actually won, this season has not been the best for our Cougs.

The Struggles of Blogging
I rarely put pictures on facebook and when I do it takes me like an hour. After going through the process of uploading the pics on my computer, choosing the ones that I want to put up(I hate when there's albums of like 200 pictures, unless they're wedding albums, in that case the more the better), actually putting them up, then tagging everyone, and thinking of a funny name for the album, the last thing I want to do is blog. And I assume no one actually reads this except Britton when I make him.
Anyway, here is a quick update on life.
I am trying to figure out what I want to do with life. In the past two years my main goal has been trying to get in the business school. I guess I never really gave much thought as to what I'd do once I was in. Well now I'm trying to decide between Marketing, Strategy, and Entrepreneurship. I just wish I could use the magic Eight Ball for this one. So, since I'm spending a lot of time trying to figure that out, I have not been spending nearly as much time studying or keeping up with my school work. That's also probably because I recently locked my keys in my car and my backpack is locked in there. I am waiting for the spare key and then maybe I'll start doing my readings again.
Anyone who knows me well at all, knows that I'm obsessed with Fall. OBSESSED. I love Halloween, mostly cause it's in Fall. So far, this fall has been great. The weather has been nothing to complain about. No snow...yet. Knock on wood. The 60-70 degree weather has held out for longer than I anticipated. This makes it easy to do fun outdoor activities. This week I made pumpkin chocolate chip cookies as my first real fall festivity. Last week I went to a haunted house, Nightmare on 13th, which was my first real Halloween Festivity. That was way fun. I love scary things. Except for scary movies. Those creep me out.
This semester is just flying. It's always the semesters that I love that go by fast. I love my schedule, I love the integrated core, but mostly, I love fall. And it is going by too fast!!
K, once again, I'll attempt at being a better blogger. Here are some pics from the past few months to get you up to speed!
4th of July...I know it's October..I suck
Lake Powell...I know It's October
This was kind of recent. Britton is officially done with BYU soccer. However, he still plays in intramurals and a futsal league. AKA soccer still takes up tons of his time.
OBSESSED with this game. I love it. I hate scrabble, but this game is 100x times better. Bananagrams. Try it.

Two Dreaded Words: Job Hunt
I am not a person who can just sit around all day. I don't enjoy when I have an open day with no activities to fill it with. The day after finals, I said to Britton, I don't know what I'm going to do with myself all day, I feel worthless.Haha obviously I'm just one of those people who loves to keep busy. One summer I only worked 20 hours a week, and that summer I went a little stir crazy. So for the past couple weeks all I've been doing is applying for internships and jobs. And so far, no luck. And for the sanctity of my mind and the steadiness of my bank account, I really need a job. So if you know of any places hiring in Provo, let me know.
You could probably infer tht finals are finally over. To be honest, when I finished my last final, I wasn't that relieved. I love the library during finals week. There's always tons of people in there and it makes me happy that all my friends are in the same place. Haha, I am so weird. During finals week I also come to realize how much I can actually learn in one week. Throughout the semester, if I have a midterm one week, all of my other classes get less attention because I have to focus on that test. But that's just cause I'm lazy during the semester. During finals week, theres no room for laziness. Anyway, I only had one night with little to no sleep and I would say overall my finals went very well. Unfortunately, I didn't get a 4.0 so I won't be getting a free trip to Chicago from Nate and Jess....but hopefully Winter semester I can make that happen.

Vegas
This weekend was much needed. BYU doesn't believe in spring breaks which can be looked at as a good or bad thing. Good because the semester ends quicker. Bad because come mid-march, I am itching for some time off. Luckily, Britton's soccer team was playing in Vegas this past weekend which was a good excuse for a little vacation. Unfortunately the team tied 0-0, but it was still fun to watch and fun to be out of Provo for a little while. After Britton's game, we were able to spend some time with Britton's parents who took us to the Lion King which was so so so good. That was the one play I was planning on seeing in London but wasn't able to because 7 weeks goes by faster than you would expect. Now it's back to books, books, books, and a city where the weather cannot decide between Winter and Spring.
Zazu was my favorite. If you ever have an opportunity to see this, don't miss out. Also, in Vegas they have amazing student discounts. Surprisingly enough, they were better than London's student discount rate. Just something to keep in mind for next time you're there.
I kind of forgot how much I love watching the men's soccer team play. I'm excited for their season to start in May. Even though Britton will be leaving every other weekend to go to California :(
